SURVEYORS (Trainee & Fully Qualified)

Due to continued business growth, we now have opportunities for Surveyors, both trainee and fully qualified.

Qualified Surveyors:
If you have CSSW and CSRT qualifications and good experience in producing survey reports in the waterproofing and preservation industry, we are very interested in hearing from you about joining Renlon Ltd as a Qualified Surveyor. Equally, if you are a surveyor in a comparable market where you believe your skills would be readily transferable, we are also very interested in talking to you about joining our existing surveying team.

Trainee Surveyors:
We are looking for people of the right calibre to train as surveyors producing quotations for both commercial and private clients. Full training and work experience will be provided leading to becoming qualified as a Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) and Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments (CSRT). Knowledge of construction and experience of reading drawings to take measurements and estimate quantities would be very useful but not essential.

Candidates should be very personable and good, articulate communicators as site visits and client interaction are a key part of the role. Numeracy and working with figures are also important skills for the role as well as an ability to learn quickly and think creatively to provide appropriate solutions for the clients. Estimation and quotation templates are provided but attention to detail and accuracy are both very important.

You will be based at our head office in Mitcham, London and will work mainly inside the M25 area. This is an interesting and varied role, which is open to anyone with the right basic skills that we can build on with training and working experience.

A good basic salary and commission is offered and a company vehicle or mileage allowance can be provided whichever is the most suitable. Due to business growth, we now have opportunities for people of the right calibre to train as installers for our structural waterproofing membrane system.

Full training and work experience will be provided and although general handyman or carpentry type skills would be an advantage they are not essential. The work is carried out on private properties and construction sites. These positions are permanent and once training has been completed, a van will be supplied, so a full clean driving licence is essential.  For the right candidates, opportunities exist to advance to a Supervisor or team Leader role. The work is on site and mainly inside the M25.

The hours of work are 08.00 to 16.00, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. Pay rates are generous and commensurate with skill level and previous experience. Interested candidates should in the first instance send their details through to
